We are hiring a Forklift Operator for our busy facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials, ensuring the efficient flow of inventory within our **logistics** operations. A strong focus on **safety**, the correct use of **PPE**, and adherence to all operational procedures are essential. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload products from trucks and containers.
- Place and retrieve inventory from racking systems with precision.
- Conduct daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Follow all company **safety** guidelines and **logistics** procedures.
- Ensure proper and consistent use of all required **PPE**.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals.
- Immediately report any **safety** hazards or equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification. Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting. Knowledge of warehouse **logistics** and inventory control. Strong understanding of **safety** regulations and the importance of **PPE**. Ability to **lift** up to 50 lbs. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must be reliable and possess a strong work ethic. This role demands focus, precision, and a commitment to maintaining a **safety**-first culture.
