Join our dynamic logistics team as a Material Handler in Denver, Colorado! We are looking for strong, dependable individuals to manage the flow of materials within our warehouse. As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in ensuring that materials are received, stored, and transported efficiently and safely. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, and organizing inventory. Safety is our utmost priority; you will receive extensive training on safe equipment operation and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires the ability to handle heavy loads, with frequent lifting up to 60 pounds, and involves standing, walking, and operating machinery throughout your shift. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers using appropriate equipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment for safety and maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Forklift certification is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 60 pounds, frequently.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a demanding environment.
- Team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic.
