We are looking for a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to manage daily operations at our Las Vegas, Nevada facility. This role requires strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse logistics. You will oversee inventory management, staff supervision, process improvement, and ensure the safe and efficient flow of goods. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Implement and enforce the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries and shipments.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and ensure all warehouse machinery is in good working order.
- Handle issues related to damaged goods, discrepancies, or customer complaints.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Facilitate safe practices for Lifting and moving of materials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks when necessary.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Understanding of modern logistics principles and best practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
