This key role involves managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining the highest standards of Safety and inventory accuracy. You will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, coordinating receiving and shipping activities, and optimizing warehouse layout and processes. A deep understanding of logistics and supply chain management is essential. This role may require hands-on involvement with tasks such as Loading, unloading, and operating equipment, including those that require significant Lifting. You will lead by example in promoting a strong Safety culture, ensuring all team members adhere to protocols and use required PPE. Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate all warehouse operations and personnel.
- Manage inventory control, stock rotation, and cycle counting.
- Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt.
- Implement and enforce stringent Safety policies and PPE usage.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and workflow.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices.
- Maintain accurate operational records and generate performance reports.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of the overall logistics system.
- Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
