Job Summary:
Our logistics operation in Portland, Oregon, is looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock. This role involves detailed tracking, regular audits, and proactive management of inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of inventory management systems. You will play a key role in optimizing warehouse efficiency and reducing stock discrepancies. This is a critical position that impacts our entire supply chain, from receiving to shipping. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Monitor stock rotation and expiry dates.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and proper use of PPE.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform Lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
  • Knowledge of Safety procedures and best practices in a warehouse environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with general logistics operations.
  • Must be comfortable wearing necessary PPE.
