Are you a reliable individual with experience in warehouse operations? We're hiring a Material Handler in Boise, Idaho! This role is fundamental to our warehouse efficiency, ensuring materials are moved, organized, and prepared for distribution. You'll work as part of a team dedicated to maintaining smooth logistics and upholding high standards of Safety .
Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, identify, and sort incoming stock.
- Use equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload items from delivery vehicles.
- Transport materials to specified locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Support inventory control through accurate counting and data entry.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace according to company policies.
- Ensure the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE ), such as gloves and safety shoes.
- Physically demanding tasks including frequent Lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Follow all operational procedures and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a material handling or warehouse setting.
- Capability to operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
- Physical strength and endurance for regular lifting and moving of goods.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
