We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our facility in Jacksonville, Florida! If you are detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, this role is for you. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from inventory, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring that orders are processed efficiently and correctly. This involves reading order sheets, locating products, and packaging them securely. The position requires physical stamina, including standing for long periods, walking, and Lifting moderate weight. Safety is our top priority, and all employees must strictly follow our Safety procedures and wear all necessary PPE . Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Package products securely using appropriate materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Conduct quality checks on packed orders.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to efficient warehouse Logistics .
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic math skills for order verification.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety regulations.
- Must be able to wear required PPE .
- Good manual dexterity and coordination.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations.
