We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our facility in Washington, D.C. You will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of warehouse equipment, managing inventory flow, and contributing to overall warehouse organization and Safety . Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyor belts, shelving).
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before they arise.
- Ensure the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Implement and enforce all Safety protocols and procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed to support operations.
- Manage the upkeep and proper use of required PPE .
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse or technical role.
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment maintenance and repair is essential.
- Familiarity with Logistics and supply chain operations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of workplace Safety regulations and best practices.
- Must be proficient in the use of required PPE .
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
