Join our team in Dallas, Texas, as a Material Handler! We are seeking an energetic and responsible individual to play a vital role in our logistics operations. You will be instrumental in managing the flow of materials within our warehouse, from receiving to dispatch. This includes operating equipment, organizing stock, and ensuring accuracy in inventory management. Safety is paramount in our operations, and all team members are expected to strictly follow safety procedures and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming materials.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Organize and maintain inventory in a systematic and efficient manner.
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for outgoing shipments.
- Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Report any damages or discrepancies promptly.
- Support the smooth functioning of the overall logistics network.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet operational targets.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred. Forklift operation experience is a strong asset; relevant training will be provided if necessary. Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing other manual tasks. A strong commitment to safety and the correct use of PPE is essential.
