You will be responsible for operating various types of equipment and ensuring inventory is handled with care. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
- Verify the accuracy of received and shipped materials against documentation.
- Stack, sort, and organize materials to maintain an orderly warehouse environment.
- Perform regular equipment checks to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting.
- Perform tasks involving frequent and substantial Lifting, often exceeding 50 lbs.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain operations of the company.
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Valid forklift certification is a strong asset.
Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and procedures.
Ability to perform heavy Lifting and physical tasks regularly.
Good understanding of logistics and material flow within a warehouse.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Commitment to a safe work environment and the consistent use of PPE.
