Responsibilities:
- Efficiently move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment to customers.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper stock rotation and location management.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the correct usage of PPE.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
- Assist with regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to handle substantial Lifting, regularly up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in operating various types of material handling machinery.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and awareness of potential hazards.
- Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capacity to work effectively both autonomously and collaboratively.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
