We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk for our facility in Sacramento, California. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of all incoming goods. Your duties will include receiving shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips, inspecting for damage, and properly documenting all received items. This position is a key component of our logistics chain, ensuring that our inventory levels are accurate and that we receive the correct products. A strong commitment to Safety and adherence to all company procedures, including the use of PPE, is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments.
- Verify quantities and product codes against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Identify and document any discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
- Enter receiving data into the inventory management system accurately.
- Prepare goods for put-away or internal
