Our growing distribution center in Denver, Colorado is looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting inventory. You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse, handling the movement of goods and materials. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to Safety. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move, load, unload, and stack products.
- Safely transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management, including counting and organizing stock.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding warehouse operations and Logistics.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, such as order picking or packing.
- Practice safe Lifting techniques when handling items not moved by forklift.
- Contribute to a positive and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification or license. Proven experience operating various types of forklifts. Ability to perform physical tasks, including safe Lifting up to 50 pounds. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures. Familiarity with warehouse operations and Logistics. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions. Must be reliable and punctual. Commitment to Safety is essential.
