Are you an experienced Reach Truck Operator seeking a new opportunity in San Francisco, California? We are hiring for a skilled individual to operate our reach trucks and other material handling equipment to efficiently move, store, and retrieve products within our warehouse. This role is critical for maintaining organized inventory and ensuring the smooth flow of goods. Safety is our top priority, and as a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for operating equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all **safety** regulations. You will also assist with general warehouse duties when not operating the equipment. If you have a valid certification and a strong understanding of warehouse **logistics**, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck and other powered industrial trucks to move, stack, and unstack pallets and materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Adhere strictly to all **safety** rules and regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Participate in general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and shipping, as required.
- Ensure correct **PPE** is worn at all times when operating equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience operating reach trucks and other relevant equipment.
- Valid forklift/reach truck operator certification.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse **logistics** and inventory control principles.
- Excellent understanding of **safety** procedures for operating heavy machinery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as **lifting** up to 50 lbs and climbing on and off equipment.
- Must be comfortable wearing required **PPE**.
