Become a Picker/Packer in our busy Baltimore, Maryland facility! This role is central to our order fulfillment process, demanding speed, accuracy, and a commitment to quality. You'll be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. We are looking for energetic individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity. Your adherence to Safety standards and the use of required PPE is crucial for your well-being and the efficiency of our Logistics operations. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain valuable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking customer orders accurately based on pick lists or scanners.
- Verifying picked items against order details.
- Packing orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Ensuring all shipments are properly labeled and documented.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Assisting with inventory replenishment as needed.
- Operating pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment.
- Reporting any discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Following all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Meeting established productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Previous picking and packing experience is a plus. Must be able to perform consistent Lifting (up to 40 lbs). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a standing and moving environment. Must be reliable and punctual. Commitment to workplace Safety and willingness to wear required PPE is mandatory. This position offers a great start in the Logistics field.
