We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Inventory Clerk to join our bustling operations in New York City, New York. You will be responsible for performing detailed inventory counts, reconciling stock levels, identifying and investigating discrepancies, and ensuring the integrity of our inventory data. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of inventory management principles. You will work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to support efficient operations and contribute to overall inventory accuracy. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Accurately record inventory data and update stock levels.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized inventory records and ensure data integrity.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Report on inventory status and any identified issues.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing PPE.
- Must be capable of occasional Lifting of items up to 25 lbs.
- Support efficient warehouse logistics and stock management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols.
