Our Nashville, Tennessee distribution center is looking for skilled Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your expertise will ensure that materials are handled correctly, contributing to smooth logistics operations. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, moving products from receiving to storage, and preparing products for shipment. A keen eye for detail is essential to prevent damage to goods and maintain accurate inventory. You will conduct daily inspections of your forklift and report any issues immediately. We expect all team members to adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position requires regular lifting of items, though most heavy lifting will be managed with forklift assistance. Experience operating various types of forklifts, such as sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, is highly preferred.
