Join our vibrant team in Miami, Florida as a Material Handler! This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse, focusing on the efficient movement and organization of materials. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and preparing goods for distribution, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all tasks. We need dedicated individuals who prioritize Safety and efficiency in a busy Logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
- Unload and receive incoming materials, verifying contents against shipping documents.
- Sort and store materials in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially those concerning safety.
- Wear and use appropriate PPE as required for the job.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions precisely.
