We are actively recruiting Picker/Packers for our Kansas City, Missouri logistics facility. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items to fulfill customer orders and then securely packaging them for shipment. This position requires a high degree of accuracy, speed, and attention to detail. You will work within our efficient warehouse operations, utilizing technology to ensure that orders are processed correctly and on time. Your role is vital to our company's ability to meet customer demands and maintain operational excellence in logistics. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order tickets or electronic systems.
- Verify product details and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack picked items using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Label packages for shipment according to company standards.
- Stage completed orders for outgoing logistics.
- Operate manual and powered pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
- Meet established picking and packing performance metrics.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and a proactive approach to tasks.
