Are you an experienced Reach Truck Operator? Join our state-of-the-art logistics facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota! We are looking for skilled operators to manage the movement and storage of goods using specialized equipment. This role is critical for maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing warehouse space, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials within our supply chain. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, highly proficient with reach trucks, and committed to operational excellence. We maintain a strong focus on safety and require all operators to strictly adhere to our established protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Place inventory in designated racking systems accurately.
- Perform routine pre-operation checks and basic maintenance on the reach truck.
- Assist in receiving, identifying, and storing incoming goods.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment as required.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, reporting any discrepancies or damages.
- Ensure the warehouse racking and floor areas are clear and organized.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and audits.
- Support overall logistics operations by ensuring efficient material handling and storage.
- Contribute to a productive and safe working environment.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck is required.
- Valid reach truck operator certification or proven proficiency.
- Ability to operate other material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient logistics operation.
