Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler in Los Angeles, California! We are looking for motivated individuals to play a key role in our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with the overall flow of goods within our Logistics center. If you are a strong, reliable worker with a commitment to Safety and efficiency, this is an excellent opportunity. This role involves significant physical activity, including extensive Lifting and the operation of material handling equipment. We emphasize a culture of Safety and require strict adherence to all company policies and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries. Your contributions are vital to the success of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move materials around the warehouse using pallet jacks, carts, and other equipment.
- Stack and arrange materials in designated areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Operate forklifts or other heavy machinery if certified and required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or Safety hazards.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Experience operating pallet jacks and other manual material handling equipment.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols and procedures.
- Familiarity with PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Logistics environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
