Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about working with children and their families. As a Pediatric Physical Therapist at A Step Ahead Pediatric Therapy, you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of children by promoting physical development and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine individualized treatment plans for children with various developmental and physical challenges.
- Provide high-quality pediatric physical therapy services to infants and children in both clinical and home settings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and developmental specialists, to ensure coordinated care.
- Monitor and document progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development activities.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in pediatric physical therapy practice.
Qualifications:
- Valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Indiana.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with children and their families.
- Dedication to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
-1 year of pediatric experience
- First Steps experience is a plus but not required.
