*Gelinas HVAC Services* located in Scarborough Maine is seeking an residential *HVAC Installation Technician* to join our dedicated, driven, growing team. We work hard in a supportive environment. We have provided residential HVAC services for 34 years, *Gelinas HVAC Services* is made up of supportive, dependable, and experienced professionals. We’re looking for candidates who have a solid work ethic.
Here’s what you’ll do:
* Install residential equipment from boilers, furnaces and heat pumps.
* Understand company pricing and generate appropriate customer invoice at the job site.
* Electronically process credit card payments. Obtain customer signature at completion of job. Obtain correct customer information including email address.
* Document all installed equipment upon arrival; make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.
* Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations, and explain fully to customer what the issue is and what is needed to correct the problem.
* Provide excellent customer service.
Here’s what we need:
* Please be personable and able to work one on one with our residential customers.
* State of Maine license must include CTEP (Certified Employee Training Program “Gas License for appliances and services”). EPA 608 (Environmental Protection Act) certification is required to ensure service practices and refrigerant reclamation.
* NORA (National Oilheat Research Alliance) license is not required however must be obtainable within a limited period of time.
* A valid driver’s license with a good driving history.
* Must know applicable codes and apply them in a practical manner.
* Capable of plumbing techniques such as soldering, pipe threading, gas leak checks.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,600.00 - $90,000.00 per year
