Title: Production Manager – Dessert Manufacturing (Confidential) Location: Medley / Doral Area – Miami, FL Company: Confidential Miami Food Manufacturer Salary: 60,000 per year + performance bonuses Job Type: Full Time Summary: Confidential Miami-based dessert manufacturer is seeking a Production Manager with experience in bakery, pastry, and industrial dessert manufacturing. This person will lead a small team, manage daily production, control recipes and yields, and ensure consistent quality and food safety. Company name will be disclosed only in later stages of the interview process. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily production for refrigerated and frozen dessert lines.
• Supervise and train a team of 2 production employees.
• Maintain and standardize recipes, formulations, batch sheets, and yields.
• Oversee scaling, mixing, assembly, dosification, and packaging.
• Ensure FDA, DOA, GMP, HACCP compliance.
• Coordinate with cleaning staff to maintain sanitation standards.
• Maintain and control inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Track production metrics: throughput, cycle time, yields, and quality. Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in bakery, pastry, or dessert manufacturing.
• Industrial production experience (not restaurant-only).
• Strong knowledge of batching, scaling, yields, and quality control.
• Experience with FDA, DOA, GMP, HACCP.
• Ability to lead small teams with discipline and organization.
• Reliable, hands-on, and comfortable in a growing startup environment. Compensation:
• 60,000 USD annual salary
