As a key member of our culinary team, the Cafe Sous Chef plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and excellence in daily kitchen operations.
This individual works closely with the Cafe Chef to ensure seamless execution of menus throughout service, while also overseeing the management and development of Line Cooks and other hourly team members.
- Delivering exceptional hospitality to guests and colleagues is essential
- Collaborating with Front of House and Back of House teams to enforce systems and routines
- Driving high performance and maintaining excellence in every aspect of service
- Providing comprehensive training to FOH team members on food menu and culinary procedures
The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of experience in culinary leadership and casual dining, as well as outstanding knowledge of food and beverage.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Developing and implementing effective strategies to improve menu offerings and customer satisfaction
- Collaborating with senior leadership to drive business growth and profitability
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting results to management
