Senior Culinary Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Sous Chef, responsible for leading the culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

• To provide excellent guest service, ensuring that all customer needs are met with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
• To train, support and develop the skills of kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
• To work closely with the Chef de Cuisine to plan menus, manage kitchen operations and maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
• To communicate effectively with the team, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive business success.
• To take ownership of kitchen inventory management, including ordering and stock control, to minimize waste and optimize resources.
• To maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety protocols.
• To contribute to the development of new menu ideas and dishes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and creative presentation techniques.
• To engage with suppliers to build strong relationships and negotiate competitive prices.

• Demonstrated leadership and training skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Current Food Handler Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and consistency in all aspects of kitchen operation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
