Patient Care Tech -Emergency Department-Night
Position Highlights:
- Position: Patient Care Tech
- Location: Highland Park Hospital
- Full-time: 36 hours per week
- Hours: Night(7pm-7:30am) w/ rotating weekends
What you will do:
- Flow of work and character of duties involves normal mental, visual, auditory attention much or all of the time with manual dexterity is required for sustained periods of time.
- Requires visual acuity adequate to assess patients and read/record patient charts.
- Requires auditory acuity adequate to converse with patients, members of the healthcare team and coworkers who are wearing masks.
- Potential for exposure to blood, body fluids and other potentially infectious materials, chemicals and other hazardous conditions which may pose a health risk.
- Able to work under pressure to meet patient care needs.
- When in the clinical environment, must utilize appropriate patient movement equipment for patient-lifting and transfers when the
