Work Requirements per 6 Week Schedule
PD - Level One
32 to 72 hours/6 weeks
PD - Level Two
73 to 110 hours/6 weeks
PD - Level Three
111 to 144 hours/6 weeks
- Required Travel: Glenview and Highland Park Hospital
What you will do:
- Work under the supervision of a RN to deliver patient care on the Antepartum unit
- Assist with Vital Signs (includes manual blood pressure), 12-Lead EKG, Bladder Ultrasound, Foley catheter and IV adapter removal, sterile specimen collection, bathing, beds, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding, blood glucose, feeding, admitting patients to room, preparing patients for discharge and any other duties delegated by the Registered Nurse
- Assist with the implementation of a patient specific care plan
- Participate in other activities which are essential to the functioning of the patient care unit
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
- When in the clinical environment, must utilize appropriate patient movement equipment for patient-lifting and transfers when the
