The Opportunity
SAIT is looking for a Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst to join our Information Technology Services team This role is responsible for ensuring that SAIT's software assets are properly managed and utilized in full compliance with vendor contracts
You will recommend, support, and maintain SAM policies and procedures, support software procurement, and manage a comprehensive inventory of software across the institution
You will be responsible for tracking and updating license data, monitoring usage trends, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the SAM database, while identifying opportunities to optimize license utilization. Additionally, you will play a key role in compliance audits and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain an effective SAM program at SAIT
