We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for quality, seasonal and sustainable food. They will assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and execution, oversee kitchen operations, ensuring timely and efficient service, maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and safety, and lead and mentor junior kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the development of menus that showcase local ingredients and creative flavors.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless service during peak periods.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to enhance their skills and confidence.
To be successful in this role, candidates should have at least two years of kitchen experience, a strong enthusiasm for hospitality, and a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
