About Our Pastry Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pastry Prep Chef to join our culinary team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who shares our passion for creating exceptional desserts and providing outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within the pastry department and overall restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Prepare mise en place alongside the pastry Sous Chef until service begins.
- Set up the pastry station with all necessary mise en place and side-work.
- Care for equipment and workstations properly.
- Explore ways to reduce waste and increase sustainability in the kitchen.
- Maintain personal hygiene and proper sanitation.
- Mainatintidyandorganizedkitchen,dish,andgarbageareas.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate
- Food Safety Knowledge
- General knife handling skills
- Kitchen Cleaning/Sanitation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to create high-quality desserts that reflect our mission statement
