Sought After Pastry Executive

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team in the kitchen, producing high-quality pastry menu items under the direction of our experienced culinary leader.

• Preparation and Production: Manage, handle, and prepare all bakery/pastry items and ingredients according to established recipes and guidelines.
• Cooking and Seasoning: Prepare, cook, and season all food according to the recipe, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Time Management: Control food production in a timely manner, meeting deadlines and maintaining efficiency.
• Maintenance and Sanitation: Maintain a clean station and adhere to all kitchen maintenance and sanitation standards, upholding company expectations.
• Menu Knowledge: Possess up-to-date knowledge of the menu, including preparation, seasoning, ingredients, and plate presentation.
• Food Safety: Follow proper methods for preparing and cooking food, prioritizing food safety and quality control.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Familiarity with all phases of food preparation and related techniques is essential.
• The ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including mobility and dexterity, is necessary.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills are vital for success in this role.
• Prior experience working in a kitchen, preferably in pastry, is advantageous.

• Mobility and dexterity to move large, heavy objects up to 100 lbs.
• Manual dexterity to include using kitchen utensils and handling food items.
• Tolerance for industry-standard chemicals used for cleaning and sanitizing.
• Ability to withstand a hot and/or close environment.
