• Assist in production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Evaluate and label prepared foods correctly.
• Verify products meet quality and preparation standards.
• Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Use measuring devices correctly and follow recipes for product production.
• Help customers understand the differences between our products and conventional store items.
• Maintain clean and well-organized walk-ins and freezers.
• Arrive on time, groomed, dressed, and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs promptly and effectively, and model suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximize sales potential through effective procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follow established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment, and maintain equipment according to cleanliness and safety standards.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing.
• Report safety hazards and violations immediately.

• Strong product knowledge.
• Ability to make adequate recipes per shift based on batch size.
• Access information about market conditions and communicate it to customers.
• Understanding of spoilage and supply waste and its effect on department profits.
• Working knowledge and application of merchandising expectations within the department.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Deliver information clearly and respectfully to fellow Team Members, customers, and vendors.
• Meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions.
• Follow directions and procedures, manage time effectively, and organize tasks.
