Job Title: Prepared Foods Associate Team Leader

This role assists the Team Leader in daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects. The successful candidate will lead and develop Team Members, ensuring a positive company image through courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain creative store layouts and product merchandising.
- Work with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
- Assist the Team Leader in analyzing sales, reports, and labor.
- Demonstrate advanced product knowledge and stay aware of new products.
- Maintain good vendor relationships, develop new vendor relations, and ensure all paperwork is properly submitted for vendor processing.
- Work with the Team Leader to resolve team concerns or issues.
- Function as the point person and departmental person in charge in the absence of the Team Leader.
- Sustain the highest standards of retail execution.
- Foster and encourage a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.
- Consistently communicate and model WFM vision and goals.
- Select, train, develop, mentor, motivate, and counsel Team Members to sustain a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
- Provide timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Decision-making ability, leadership skills, and the ability to prioritize and delegate.
- Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications.
- 18+ months of retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
