Sushi Professional

Seeking a highly skilled Sushi Professional to join our culinary team. As a key member, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting sushi dishes while maintaining exceptional safety and sanitation standards.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in the same role, excellent knife skills, and can work flexible hours including nights and weekends. They should be polished, professional, warm, and hospitable, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and tolerate exposure to hot and cold environments.

• Prepare and present sushi dishes of exceptional quality
• Maintain all safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen
• Responsible for prepping, stocking, and maintaining the sushi station
• Ensure the quality and pars of prepared fish
• Store, label, and date all fish products according to policy
• Maintain consistency in fish portioning
• Demonstrate expertise in knife skills, fileting, cooking, and prepping
• Provide professional guest service and interaction at the sushi bar
• Safely operate and maintain all kitchen equipment
• Communicate equipment needs and maintenance requests to management
• Assist in storing ingredients and deliveries according to sanitation guidelines
• Adhere to standardized recipes to ensure high-quality food production
