*Your Role: Senior Mechanical Project Estimator *
We're looking for an experienced, detail-driven Senior Mechanical Project Estimator to lead estimating efforts on critical infrastructure and industrial piping projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer or construction professional ready to step into a high-impact position and collaborate across departments to win and deliver complex jobs.
*What You’ll Be Doing *
* Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, specs, and project documentation to develop comprehensive mechanical estimates
* Conduct site walk-throughs and evaluations to validate scopes and gather critical estimating data
* Lead the development of competitive, accurate bids for large-scale industrial piping, process systems, and structural steel projects
* Collaborate with operations, sales, and project management teams to ensure accurate project phasing and seamless execution
* Develop detailed scope narratives and bid documentation that reflect both technical and client requirements
* Participate in strategic pricing, risk analysis, and project discussions with leadership
*What You Bring *
* 5+ years of mechanical or industrial estimating experience (process piping, fabrication, or mechanical construction)
* Engineering or construction management background (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
* Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office and industry-specific estimating tools
* Excellent technical writing, verbal communication, and client-facing skills
* Strong project lifecycle understanding from preconstruction through close-out
* High attention to detail, organizational skill, and strategic thinking
* Ability to lead pre-bid meetings and collaborate across departments

*Work Schedule *
* Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
* Based on-site at our Portland, ME headquarters
* Occasional travel to project sites as needed
