We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to support our kitchen team in preparing and serving delicious meals. This entry-level role is perfect for someone eager to learn and contribute to a high-energy kitchen. You'll assist with food prep, cleaning, and maintaining a smooth workflow to ensure top-notch service. No prior experience required—we'll train you!
Key Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients for meals, including washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, and portioning meats as directed by the Chef.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
Assist in unloading food deliveries and stocking pantry items.
Support line cooks during busy service periods by prepping simple dishes or plating orders.
Ensure all food handling complies with health and safety standards.
Sweep and mop floors, empty trash, and perform general kitchen maintenance.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene (training provided).
Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Team player who can work well under pressure.
