We are seeking Personal Support Workers for full-time or part-time opportunities in the Shelburne area.

Job Description:

Compensation: $19 $21/hour
Requirements:

  • Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months)

  • TB Test

  • PSW certificate 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Experience in dementia care, NVCI, or GPA is an asset.

  • Positive work record and reliable attendance.

  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening required.

  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.

  • Observe and report changes in residents condition to nursing staff.

  • Follow individualized care plans and facility policies.

  • Maintain accurate documentation as required.

  • Support residents physical, emotional, and social well-being.

  • Assist with meal service and mobility needs.

  • Adhere to Infection Prevention and Control practices.

  • Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented environment.
