Role Overview
As a People Resource Coach, you'll be a trusted mentor, connector, and guide the team of Life Redesign Coaches. You'll champion communication, Scheduling, performance development, and a culture of safety and inclusion. You will help build a strong, collaborative environment where staff feel supported and empowered to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Hiring
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes
- Coordinate job postings, interviews, reference checks, and onboarding
- Conduct exit interviews and promote equitable hiring practices
- Training, Coaching & Support
- Provide mentorship and hands-on problem-solving support
- Elevate staff feedback and foster a respectful, inclusive culture
- Performance & Development
- Manage ClearCo performance and learning system
- Facilitate strengths-based check-ins and development conversations
- Promote professional growth and access to learning opportunities
- Culture & Values
- Model CONNECT's core values: flexibility, creativity, learning, kindness, passion, and joy
- Support person-centered engagement and leadership
- Promote psychological safety and inclusion
- Scheduling
- Manage coach schedules to ensure optimal support across homes
- Align staffing with resident needs and maintain compliance with standards
- On-Call Support
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotation for after-hours support
Qualifications
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or leadership (preferably in healthcare, education, or social services)
- Strong understanding of person-centered practices and inclusive service delivery
- Familiarity with employment standards, licensing, and workplace safety
- Proficiency with digital tools (e.g., ClearCo, ADP, Microsoft 365)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and psychological safety
Requirements
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector)
- First Aid with CPR
- Food Safe Certification
- Current TB Status (within 30 days)
- Self-declaration of Immunization Status
- Valid Driver's License and recent Driver's Abstract
Working Conditions
- Full-time position (40 hours/week)
- Regular business hours with scheduled on-call support
