Position Highlights:
- SIGN-ON BONUS: $5,000
- Position: Radiologic Technologist III
- Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL
- Part-Time, 20 hours weekly
- Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm, with rotating weekends, on-call schedule, and 2 holidays per year
What you will do:
Operates a variety of radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes as directed by the Radiologists, in accordance with established protocols. Assists physicians and other clinical staff with obtaining films, images, and other records using the Radiology PACS or hospital information systems. Explains procedure to patients, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust. Works in surgery as assigned. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects of job.
What you will need:
- Education : High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher, preferred.
- License : IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
- Certifications: ARRT - Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required. BLS certification (CPR and AED) from the American Heart Association (AHA), required.
- Experience : 1 Year prior x-ray experience in a surgical environment, required. Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology (ACR)/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance with all rules and regulations.
