Main Family Dental Care is seeking a motivated, proactive General Dentist who is team-oriented and passionate about patient care. This busy practice, located in the heart of Davenport, Iowa, has a long-standing, dedicated patient base. We are seeking a new provider to assume leadership of the practice and carry on the high standard of patient care as our current provider is looking to retire. The incoming dentist would be facilitated by a transition period with our current provider.
The ideal candidate will have a calm, reassuring and friendly demeanor as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere. Excellent chair side manner, customer service and leadership skills, along with fluency in current dental techniques and best business practices are required. A flexible personality with a willingness to continue a tradition of delivering same-day treatment and emergency care is also required. The dentist should be well-organized with great attention to detail and the ability to follow current dental office regulations and protocols. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an outstanding, patient-centric team in an intimate office environment.
Weekly schedule is as follows:
Monday: 8am - 5pm
Tuesday: 9am - 5:30pm
Wednesday: 9am - 5:30pm
Thursday: 8am - 4:30pm
Friday: Closed (however, opening on a Friday is at the dentist’s discretion, based on patient need)
Responsibilities and Skills
* Make patients feel welcome and comfortable at Main Family Dental Care
* Deliver excellent clinical care with reassuring and calming chair side manner
* Proven experience as a General Dentist
* Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
* Understanding of health & safety regulations required by OSHA
* Good computer skills
* Excellent communication and people skills
* Attention to detail
* Well-organized and reliable
* Licensed in the state of Iowa
