Summary

We are seeking a Communication Disorders Assistant (CDA) to join our dynamic Vancouver-based team at Social Dynamics Therapy Services to work with paediatric, teen and young adults in providing one-on-one individual therapy, small group therapy, and teletherapy sessions. Preference will be given to candidates who also have experience with providing neurodiverse affirming therapy and have a keen interest in social communication and executive functioning. Services will be provided in clients' schools, homes or via teletherapy.

Qualifications include:

• Completion of a recognized Speech-Language Assistant Diploma Program, or Communicative Disorders Assistant Program.
• A current member or eligible to become a member of Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (S.A.C.) as a Communication-Health Assistant.
• Comfortable working in a variety of settings including schools, daycares, online and within out clinic space that is located at This Worlds Ours.
• Access to a vehicle would be an asset.
• Any second languages would be an asset.

Responsibilities include:

• Engage with clients during therapy sessions under the guidance of licensed professionals.
• Coordinate scheduling and logistics for therapy appointments and follow-ups.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding therapy goals and progress.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss client needs and therapy strategies.
