Full Time Toddler RECE

Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, flexible, and passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a nurturing environment. We are currently looking for someone who enjoys working with School Agers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate, engaging, and inclusive programs in alignment with How Does Learning Happen? and the DROC framework.
• Create and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment.
• Conduct ongoing observations and documentation to support planning and assessment of children's development.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, families, and community partners to support each child's unique needs.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with all CCEYA and public health regulations.
• Be flexible and adaptable to the evolving needs of the program.

Qualifications:

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an RECE in a licensed child care setting.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of DROC and How Does Learning Happen?
• Proven ability to plan, implement, and assess developmentally appropriate, play-based programs.
• Excellent observation, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and respectfully as part of a team.
• Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification.
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Check.
