Licensed Automotive Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As an Automotive Technician with the added benefit of light diesel equipment, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that vehicles are operating at peak performance. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to providing exceptional service to our internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various repair tasks.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot vehicle issues
• Assemble components and systems according to manufacturer specifications
• Communicate with staff regarding vehicle issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist with heavy lifting as required during repairs or part replacements

Experience

• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic is required, as is light diesel repair.

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive work
• Light Diesel repair is required
• Experience with welding is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with internal customers
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs or maintenance tasks

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
