Mechanical Design Engineer
to join our growing engineering team. If youre experienced, commercially aware, and confident working with pressure systems and industry design codes, this role is for you. What Youll Do
Deliver high-quality design outputs on time and within budget.
Take part in design reviews, risk assessments and technical problem-solving.
Support FAT testing and customer presentations.
Help drive efficiency by championing
Two Second Lean
across the business.
Apply design codes including
ASME Section VIII ,
ASME Section I
and
PD5500 .
Stay up to date with the
Machinery
and
Pressure Equipment Directives .
Lead internal design process improvements.
What Youll Need
Degree in
Mechanical Engineering
(or equivalent).
5+ years experience
in mechanical design.
Strong
SolidWorks
and Microsoft Office skills.
Experience working to the
Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) .
Good understanding of project management and manufacturing processes.
Nice to Have
Experience with ASME pressure vessel codes or PD5500.
Knowledge of the Machinery Directive.
Exposure to LEAN / Two Second Lean environments or APQP frameworks.
Familiarity with
FEA
or
CFD
tools.
Background in autoclaves or pressure-related systems.
