Business Development Director

We are seeking an enthusiastic, Business Development Director, specializing in skilled nursing, to join our team at Longwood Health and Rehabilitation Center. In this role, you will be essential in developing relationships within our community, promoting our mission and vision of providing an environment of quality and compassionate care to our residents and community. This position will play a vital role in driving business growth and ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care.

Business Development Director Job Summary & Qualifications:

• Develop and implement community outreach strategies to enhance our skilled nursing facility's presence
• Create and nurture relationships in the post-acute care industry and within the market
• Cultivating and promoting positive awareness of our skilled nursing facility
• Understand census, quality mix and bed management needs of the skilled nursing facility.
• Direct and facilitate the admissions process
• Ability to manage referral volume and assessing appropriateness
• Generate referrals to our skilled nursing facility to support our census and quality mix goals.
• Communicating effectively to safe transition referrals from one level of care to another
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Swift responsiveness to our community partners and all referral sources
• Provide excellent customer service
• Maintain a close working relationship with the Admissions Coordinator, DON, Business Office Manager, and Nursing Home Administrator.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a health care setting - LTC preferred.
• Demonstrated basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
