*Responsibilities:*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and environmental needs.
* Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address specific conditions and enhance daily living skills.
* Provide direct therapy services to clients in individual and group settings.
* Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve functional independence.
* Monitor patients' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to promote optimal outcomes.
* Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
* Document patient care accurately and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
* Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families to promote well-being and coping strategies.
* Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of quality improvement initiatives.
*Occupational Therapist Qualifications:*
* Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of CA.
* 1-2 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a similar setting.
* NBCOT certification preferred.
* BLS/CPR certification required.
* Valid CA Driver’s license
*Documentary Requirements*
* Compliance with federal I-9 requirements (please bring suitable documentation with you on your first day of work verifying your identity and legal authorization to work in the United States); and
* Mandatory Physical (within the last 6 months prior to the orientation date). You may bring a note from your physician prior to the Orientation Date
* Mandatory TB (within the last year) OR Chest X-ray (within the last 5 years)
* MMR immunization or titer showing immunity prior to your Orientation Date
* Varicella immunization or titer showing immunity prior to your Orientation Date
* Hep B immunization or titer showing immunity prior to your Orientation Date
* TDAP vaccination or declination prior to your Orientation Date
* Yearly Influenza vaccination or declination prior to your Orientation Date
* COVID vaccination or declination prior to your Orientation Date

Pay: $121,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
