You will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care, performing diagnostic procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare. Our clinic is equipped with all the bells and whistles including a CT scanner. *Duties*
* Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions in animals, including emergency cases requiring veterinary critical care experience.
* Perform thorough animal restraint and handling to ensure safety during examinations and procedures.
* Conduct laboratory tests, analyze results, and interpret veterinary terminology to inform treatment plans.
* Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments with precision, adhering to aseptic techniques.
* Assist with complex procedures such as animal catheterization, pet grooming, and animal husbandry tasks.
* Educate pet owners on animal physiology, anatomy, nutrition, and overall pet care best practices.
* Maintain detailed medical records, update treatment protocols, and communicate effectively with clients about their pet’s health needs.
*Experience*
* Proven veterinary experience with a strong background in general animal care and emergency response.
* Hands-on experience in animal restraint techniques and animal handling across various species including dogs and equines.
* Laboratory experience involving diagnostic testing and sample analysis is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and anatomy knowledge to accurately diagnose and treat conditions.
* Experience working in high-pressure environments such as veterinary critical care units or emergency clinics is preferred.
* Knowledge of pet grooming, pet care routines, and animal husbandry practices enhances the quality of patient management.

Pay: $106,000.47 - $135,000.00 per year
