Job Description

CEDA is looking to hire a Labourer for our Bonnyville AB location

Candidates must be local to the areas they are applying for.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist combo unit operator with various duties: rigging hoses, pressure washing & steaming (vessels, lines, piping, valves etc), vacuum containments, shoveling etc.
  • Parts & supplies runs
  • Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
  • Challenge your eye for detail and practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time
  • Other duties as assigned

Role Specifications:

  • Experience in an industrial setting is an asset, we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Valid CSO certification, H2S Alive and Confined Space certificates are required
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence is required (no GDL)
  • Current 5-year driver's abstract (no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years)
  • Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Skills:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
  • Perform physically demanding work: Climbing stairs, ladders & scaffolding and able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Comfortable working at heights, in tight spaces and working under air while cleaning vessels
  • You're happiest working in a team, sharing a laugh with your coworkers and getting the job done safely
