AIM is currently looking for a Laborer for its Québec City site, from Monday to Saturday starting at 8:00 a.m. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the incumbent receives the different types of metals, performs an initial classification, and directs them to the appropriate locations.
What you will be responsible for:
- Welcoming customers courteously while following our procedures and requirements
- Participating in the unloading of materials
- Sorting the different metals according to their characteristics
- Inspecting customers' metals
- Identifying the correct type of metal for each product and validate its quality
- Weighing metals on the scale
- Performing data entry in the RECY software
- Working with different types of machinery (Forklift)
- Preparing receiving/shipping tickets
- Ensuring cleanliness of the premises
- Performing any other related tasks

- You have one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a similar role
- You have knowledge of metal recycling (major asset)
- You have forklift experience (major asset) — training provided on-site
- You are bilingual (asset)
